     Jean Gilbert was the daughter of James Lyon Gilbert.² She married George Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 31 January 1903.¹ She died on 7 April 1917, without issue.¹

     Eliza Salt was the daughter of Reverend Joseph Salt.² She married Captain John Henry Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 25 June 1874.¹ She died on 24 October 1929.¹

     Sophia Caroline Lucille Lynch was the daughter of Francis Robertson Lynch.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Edward Henry Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 28 April 1873.¹ She died on 30 October 1926.¹
     Her married name became Howard.

     Lilla Durant was the daughter of Captain Edwin L. Durant.² She married Charles John Henry Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 3 July 1862.¹ She died on 20 June 1876, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Howard.

     Captain Edwin L. Durant is the son of George Durant.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Madras Army.¹

     Agnes Catherine Randolph was the daughter of Reverend Edward John Randolph.² She married Charles John Henry Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 16 October 1879.¹ She died on 8 February 1919.¹

     Eliza Minna Wasey was the daughter of Reverend John Spearman Wasey.² She married Reverend Henry Frederick Howard, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Edward John Howard and Henrietta Elizabeth Wright, on 3 July 1878.¹ She died on 8 July 1938.¹

     Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 1 September 1845 at Corsham House, Wiltshire, England^G.² He was the son of Frederick Henry Paul Methuen, 2nd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Anna Horatia Caroline Sanford.¹ He married, firstly, Evelyn Hervey-Bathurst, daughter of Sir Frederick Hervey-Bathurst, 3rd Bt. and Clare Emily Brooke, on 18 June 1878.³ He married, secondly, Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford, daughter of William Ayshford Sanford and Sarah Ellen Seymour, on 9 January 1884.³ He died on 30 October 1932 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Gold Coast Campaign in 1873.¹ He fought in the Ashanti War in 1874.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel between 1876 and 1881 in the Scots Guards.¹ He was Assistant Military Secretary to Commander-in-Chief, Ireland in 1877.¹ He fought in the Egypt Expedition|where he was mentioned in despatches in 1882.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1882.¹ He fought in the Bechuanaland Campaign in 1885.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1886.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1890.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham, co.
