     Paul Ayshford Methuen, 4th Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 29 September 1886.² He was the son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford.² He married Eleanor Hennessy, daughter of William John Hennessy, on 6 July 1915.² He died on 7 January 1974 at age 87, without issue.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1910 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was an assistant between 1910 and 1914 at Transvaal Museum, Pretoria, Transvaal, South Africa.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.² He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1914 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He succeeded as the 4th Baron Methuen of Corsham, co. Wilts [U.K., 1838] on 30 October 1932.² He was trustee of the National Gallery between 1938 and 1945.² He was trustee of the Tate Gallery between 1940 and 1945.² He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour in 1945.² He wrote the book Normandy Diary, published 1952.² He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)² He was a painter and zoologist.²

     Eleanor Hennessy was the daughter of William John Hennessy.² She married Paul Ayshford Methuen, 4th Baron Methuen of Corsham, son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford, on 6 July 1915.¹ She died on 17 December 1958.¹
     Her married name became Methuen. After her marriage, Eleanor Hennessy was styled as Baroness Methuen of Corsham on 30 October 1932.

     Anthony Paul Methuen, 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 26 June 1891 at Corsham, Wiltshire, England^G.^2,3,4 He was the son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford.⁵ He married Grace Durning Holt, daughter of Sir Richard Durning Holt, 1st Bt. and Eliza Lawrence Wells, on 22 July 1920.¹ He died on 21 June 1975 at age 83.⁴
     He lived in 1901 at Corsham, Wiltshire, England^G.^2,4 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.⁵ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1916 in the Scots Guards (SR.)¹ He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1918, where he was wounded.¹ He was a chartered architect.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham, co. Wilts [U.K., 1838] on 7 January 1974.¹

     Grace Durning Holt was born on 31 March 1898 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.^2,3,4 She was the daughter of Sir Richard Durning Holt, 1st Bt. and Eliza Lawrence Wells.¹ She married Anthony Paul Methuen, 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham, son of Field Marshal Paul Sanford Methuen, 3rd Baron Methuen of Corsham and Mary Ethel Ayshford Sanford, on 22 July 1920.⁵ She died on 7 August 1972 at age 74.⁴
     Her married name became Methuen. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire in 1942.⁵

     Sir Richard Durning Holt, 1st Bt. was born on 13 November 1868 at Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England^G.^2,3,4,5,6 He was the son of Robert Durning Holt and Lawrencina Potter.¹ He married Eliza Lawrence Wells on 16 June 1897 at Grace Church, England^G.⁶ He died on 22 March 1941 at age 72.¹
     He lived in 1871 at West Derby, Lancashire, England^G.^4,6 He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 1891 at Toxteth Park, Lancashire, England^G.^2,6 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Hexham between 1907 and 1918.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Holt on 30 January 1935.¹

     Anthony John Methuen, 6th Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 26 October 1925.¹ He was the son of Anthony Paul Methuen, 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham and Grace Durning Holt.² He died on 24 August 1994 at age 68, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1943 and 1947 in the Scots Guards and Royal Signals.¹ He was educated at Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was lands officer with the Air Ministry between 1951 and 1962.¹ He was registered as a Professional Associate, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (A.R.I.C.S.)¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Methuen of Corsham, co. Wilts [U.K., 1838] on 21 June 1975.¹

     Robert Alexander Holt Methuen, 7th Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 22 July 1931.² He was the son of Anthony Paul Methuen, 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham and Grace Durning Holt.² He married, firstly, Mary Catherine Jane Hooper, daughter of Venerable Charles German Hooper, on 10 May 1958.² He and Mary Catherine Jane Hooper were divorced in 1993.² He married, secondly, Margrit Andrea Hadwiger, daughter of Friedrich Karl Ernst Hadwiger, on 8 January 1994.² He died on 9 July 2014 at age 82.³

     Mary Catherine Jane Hooper is the daughter of Venerable Charles German Hooper.² She married Robert Alexander Holt Methuen, 7th Baron Methuen of Corsham, son of Anthony Paul Methuen, 5th Baron Methuen of Corsham and Grace Durning Holt, on 10 May 1958.² She and Robert Alexander Holt Methuen, 7th Baron Methuen of Corsham were divorced in 1993.²
     From 10 May 1958, her married name became Methuen.
