     Frederick Henry Paul Methuen, 2nd Baron Methuen of Corsham was born on 23 February 1818.¹ He was the son of Paul Methuen, 1st Baron Methuen of Corsham and Jane Dorothea St. John-Mildmay.² He married Anna Horatia Caroline Sanford, daughter of Reverend John Sanford and Elizabeth Georgiana Morgan, on 14 October 1844.¹ He died on 26 September 1891 at age 73.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Methuen of Corsham, co. Wilts [U.K., 1838] on 11 September 1849.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1859 and 1866.¹ He held the office of Militia Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1860 and 1891.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1868 and 1874.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1880 and 1885.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between February 1886 and August 1886.¹

     Anna Horatia Caroline Sanford was born in 1824.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend John Sanford and Elizabeth Georgiana Morgan.² She married Frederick Henry Paul Methuen, 2nd Baron Methuen of Corsham, son of Paul Methuen, 1st Baron Methuen of Corsham and Jane Dorothea St. John-Mildmay, on 14 October 1844.¹ She died on 3 March 1899.¹
     Her married name became Methuen. After her marriage, Anna Horatia Caroline Sanford was styled as Baroness Methuen of Corsham on 11 September 1849.

     Reverend John Sanford married Elizabeth Georgiana Morgan, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Charles Morgan, in June 1819.²
     He was the Rector at Nynehead, Somerset, England^G.²

     Maria St. John-Mildmay was born on 2 April 1790.² She was the daughter of Sir Henry Paulet St. John-Mildmay, 3rd Bt. and Jane Mildmay.¹ She married Henry St. John, 4th Viscount Bolingbroke, son of George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke and Charlotte Collins, on 3 June 1812 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 21 December 1836 at age 46 at Aberystwith, Ceredigion, Wales^G.¹
     Her married name became St. John. After her marriage, Maria St. John-Mildmay was styled as Viscountess St. John on 18 December 1824.

     Henry St. John, 4th Viscount Bolingbroke was born on 6 March 1786.¹ He was the son of George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke and Charlotte Collins.¹ He married Maria St. John-Mildmay, daughter of Sir Henry Paulet St. John-Mildmay, 3rd Bt. and Jane Mildmay, on 3 June 1812 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He died on 1 October 1851 at age 65 at Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was buried on 7 October 1851 at Lydiard Tregoze, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in November 1851.¹
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 3 February 1804.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Viscount St. John, of Battersea, co. Surrey [G.B., 1716] on 18 December 1824.² He succeeded as the 8th Baronet St. John, of Lidiard Tregoze, co. Wilts [E., 1611] on 18 December 1824.² He succeeded as the 4th Baron St. John of Lydiard Tregoze, co. Wilts [G.B., 1712] on 18 December 1824.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Bolingbroke, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1712] on 18 December 1824.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron St. John of Battersea, co. Surrey [G.B., 1716] on 18 December 1824.²

     George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke was born on 5 March 1761.¹ He was the son of Frederick St. John, 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke and Lady Diana Spencer.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Collins, daughter of Reverend Thomas Collins, on 26 February 1783.¹ He married, secondly, Isabella Charlotte Antoinette Sophia Baronin von Hompesch, daughter of Frank Carl Baron von Hompesch and Antonia Baronin von Hacke, on 1 August 1804 at Trinity Church, Manhattan, New York CIty, New York, U.S.A.^1,3 He and Charlotte Collins were separated.¹ He died on 11 December 1824 at age 63.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) in 1825.¹

(Whig) for Cricklade between 1782 and 1784.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1712] on 5 May 1787.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron St. John of Lydiard Tregoze, co. Wilts [G.B., 1712] on 5 May 1787.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount St. John, of Battersea, co. Surrey [G.B., 1716] on 5 May 1787.⁵ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet St. John, of Lidiard Tregoze, co. Wilts [E., 1611] on 5 May 1787.⁵ He succeeded as the 4th Baron St. John of Battersea, co. Surrey [G.B., 1716] on 5 May 1787.⁵

     Charlotte Collins was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Collins.¹ She married George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke, son of Frederick St. John, 2nd Viscount Bolingbroke and Lady Diana Spencer, on 26 February 1783.¹ She and George Richard St. John, 3rd Viscount Bolingbroke were separated.¹ She died on 11 January 1803 at Hot Wells, Bristol, England^G.¹
     Her married name became St. John. After her marriage, Charlotte Collins was styled as Viscountess St. John on 5 May 1787.

     Lesley Venitia Clough-Taylor was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Harrison Clough-Taylor and Lady Elisabeth Campbell.¹ She married Colonel Hon. Arthur Grenville Brodrick, son of William Brodrick, 8th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Augusta Mary Fremantle, on 29 April 1912.¹ She died on 21 May 1954.¹
     Her married name became Brodrick.

     Anna Maria Wyndham Bouverie was the daughter of Hon. Bartholemew Bouverie and Mary Wyndham Arundell.¹ She married Paulet St. John-Mildmay, son of Sir Henry Paulet St. John-Mildmay, 3rd Bt. and Jane Mildmay, on 12 March 1813.² She died on 11 December 1864.²
     Her married name became St. John-Mildmay.

     Paulet Henry St. John-Mildmay was born on 26 October 1814.¹ He was the son of Paulet St. John-Mildmay and Anna Maria Wyndham Bouverie.¹ He married Caroline Adela Catherine Valencia Standish, daughter of Rowland Standish and Lady Lucy Pery, on 13 November 1849.¹ He died on 16 April 1858 at age 43, without issue.¹
     He lived at Hazelgrove, Somerset, England^G.¹
