Maria Susannah Simpson was the daughter of John Simpson and Lady Anne Lyon.1 She married Thomas Henry Liddell, 1st Baron Ravensworth, son of Sir Henry George Liddell, 5th Bt. and Elizabeth Steele, on 26 March 1796 at Upper Harley Street, London, EnglandG.3 She died on 22 November 1845 at Lamesley, County Durham, EnglandG.3
Her married name became Liddell. After her marriage, Maria Susannah Simpson was styled as Baroness Ravensworth on 17 July 1821.
