     Frederick Keppel was born on 12 November 1762.¹ He was the son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Frederick Keppel and Laura Walpole.¹ He married Louisa Clive, daughter of George Clive and Sydney Bolton, on 5 August 1796.¹ He died on 12 April 1830 at age 67.¹ He was also reported to have died on 12 April 1820.³
     He lived at Lexham Hall, Norfolk, England^G.³

     Reverend William Arnold Walpole Keppel was born on 7 October 1804 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Frederick Keppel and Louisa Clive.¹ He married Frances Georgiana Sophia Marsham, daughter of Robert Marsham, on 7 September 1830.¹ He died on 26 November 1888 at age 84.¹
     He lived at Lexham Hall, East Lexham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He held the office of Registrar of the Diocese of Exeter.¹ He was the Rector at Haynford, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Louisa Clive was the daughter of George Clive and Sydney Bolton.^1,2 She married Frederick Keppel, son of Rt. Rev. Hon. Frederick Keppel and Laura Walpole, on 5 August 1796.¹ She died on 16 March 1832.¹
     Her married name became Keppel.

     Frederick Walpole Keppel was born on 23 May 1797.¹ He was the son of Frederick Keppel and Louisa Clive.¹ He married Mary Anne Hodgkinson on 22 July 1848.¹ He died on 24 December 1858 at age 61.¹

     Mary Anne Hodgkinson married, firstly, R. R. Wilson before 1848.¹ She married, secondly, Frederick Walpole Keppel, son of Frederick Keppel and Louisa Clive, on 22 July 1848.¹ She died on 12 January 1880.¹
     From before 1848, her married name became Wilson.¹ Her married name became Keppel.

     Elizabeth Carnegie was the daughter of Sir Robert Carnegie of Kinnaird and Margaret Guthrie.^1,2 A contract for the marriage of Elizabeth Carnegie and Andrew Arbuthnott of that Ilk was signed on 7 August 1553. She died on 28 October 1583.¹
     From 7 August 1553, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     Frances Georgiana Sophia Marsham was born in 1810 at Hethersett, Norfolk, England^G.² She was the daughter of Robert Marsham.¹ She married Reverend William Arnold Walpole Keppel, son of Frederick Keppel and Louisa Clive, on 7 September 1830.¹ She died on 7 June 1883.¹
     Her married name became Keppel.

     Lt.-Col. Frederick Charles Keppel was born on 25 August 1831.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Arnold Walpole Keppel and Frances Georgiana Sophia Marsham.¹ He died on 2 March 1876 at age 44, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Equerry to HRH The Prince of Wales.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Henry Augustus Keppel was born on 6 August 1845.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Arnold Walpole Keppel and Frances Georgiana Sophia Marsham.¹ He married Hon. Charlotte Elizabeth Eleanor Fraser, daughter of Alexander Fraser, 18th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Charlotte Evans, on 10 July 1873 at Lexham Hall, East Lexham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died on 31 October 1889 at age 44.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 2nd Brigade, E Division, Royal Artillery.¹

     William Charles Keppel, 4th Earl of Albemarle was born on 14 May 1772.¹ He was the son of General George Keppel, 3rd Earl of Albemarle and Anne Miller.¹ He was baptised on 8 June 1772 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Southwell, daughter of Edward Southwell, 20th Lord Clifford and Sophia Campbell, on 9 April 1792 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Charlotte Susannah Hunloke, daughter of Sir Henry Hunloke, 4th Bt. and Margaret Coke, on 11 February 1822 at Upper Grosvenor Street, London, England^G.¹ He died on 30 October 1849 at age 77 at Quidenham, Norfolk, England^G.³ His will was proven (by probate) in February 1850.³
     He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Albemarle [E., 1697] on 13 October 1772.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Bury, co. Lancaster [E., 1697] on 13 October 1772. He succeeded as the 4th Baron Ashford, of Ashford, Kent [E., 1697] on 13 October 1772. He held the office of Master of the Buckhounds between 1806 and 1807.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1830.¹ He held the office of Master of the Horse between 1830 and 1834.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.) in 1833 civil.¹ He held the office of Master of the Horse between 1835 and 1841.¹
     The Duke of Sussex wrote to Coke of Norfolk in 1833, “you will laugh when I tell you that the King took Albemarle by surprise, and has made him a Knight of the Thistle. I do not think the members of the House enjoyed it, but it could not be helped.” Gibbs comments, “Albemarle had no connexion by blood or estate with Scotland, so apparently the King’s blunder was helped by making him G.C.H. instead.”¹
