     James Butler was the son of Sir Theobald Butler and Margaret Roche.² He married Hon. Joan Butler, daughter of Theobald Butler, 5th Baron Caher, on 28 May 1708.³ He died on 8 January 1722.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 23 January 1722/23.¹
     He lived at Castlekeale, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Knockgraffon, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Caherbane, County Clare, Ireland^G.³

     Hon. Joan Butler was the daughter of Theobald Butler, 5th Baron Caher.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Walter Esmonde, 6th Bt., son of Rt. Hon. Sir Laurence Esmonde, 3rd Bt. and Jane Lucy Forde.² She married, firstly, James Butler, son of Sir Theobald Butler and Margaret Roche, on 28 May 1708.²
     She was also known as Joanna.¹ Her married name became Esmonde. From 28 May 1708, her married name became Butler.

     Theobald Butler, 5th Baron Caher was the son of Piers Butler and Catherine O’Brien.² He married, firstly, Mary Everard, daughter of Sir Redmond Everard, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Butler, before 1692.² He married, secondly, Margaret Butler, daughter of Piers Butler, 4th Baron Caher and Elizabeth Mathew, in February 1693.² He died on 27 September 1700. He was buried at Caher, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.³
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Caher [I., 1583] on 30 January 1676/77.² On 7 January 1689 he sat in the Parliament of King James II.² In 1691 he was outlawed, but restored on 19 January 1692/3, although his estates suffered as a result.² He acquired the manor of Castle Grace and other lands in County Tipperary through his second wife.³

     William Galwey was the son of John Galwey and Alice Butler.¹ He died, unmarried.¹

     Emily Gould is the daughter of Ignatius Gould.¹ She married John Galwey, son of John Galwey and Jane O’Bryen.¹
     Her married name became Galwey.¹

     Ignatius Gould lived at Knockraha, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Catherine Galwey was born in 1793.¹ She was the daughter of John Galwey and Emily Gould.¹ A settlement for the marriage between her and Richard Barry was made on 12 April 1819.¹
     From 12 April 1819, her married name became Barry.¹

     Richard Barry is the son of William Barry and Margaret Barry.² A settlement for the marriage between him and Catherine Galwey was made on 12 April 1819.¹
     He lived at Grenville, Ireland^G.² He lived at Barry’s Lodge, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     William Barry was born in 1757.¹ He was the son of Edmond Barry and Johanna Coppinger.² He married Margaret Barry, daughter of James Barry.² He died on 24 January 1824.¹
     He lived at Rockville, County Limerick, Ireland^G.²

     Jane Kellett Galwey was born in 1796.¹ She was the daughter of John Galwey and Emily Gould.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Warren, son of Thomas Warren and Anne Townsend, in May 1831.¹ She died on 12 January 1878.¹
     From May 1831, her married name became Warren.¹
