He was educated at Burneys School, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches twice.2 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel in 1919 in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Army Service Corps.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.2 He was Resident Magistrate of N R Tipperary between 1919 and 1920.2 He held the office of Chief Constable of Buckinghamshire between 1928 and 1953.2 He was a practising barrister in 1937.2 He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.)2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Buckinghamshire in 1941.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Warren, of Warren’s Court, co. Cork [I., 1784] on 20 January 1958.1
