Sir Theobald Butler1 
He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1671.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ennis in 1689.2 He held the office of Solicitor-General in 1689, to King James II.1 He held the office of Commissioner of the Revenue.2 He was draftsman on the Jacobite side of the Treaty of Limerick in 1691.2 He was a spokesman at the Bar of House of Commons for the Catholics of Ireland against the Popery Bill in 1703.2
