     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1932 in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1950.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1954.¹ He was Commander of the H.M.S. Drake Devonport between 1962 and 1964.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barlow, of Wimpole Street, London [U.K., 1902] on 28 February 1968.¹ He graduated from Sussex University, Brighton, Sussex, England^G, with a honorary Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Buckinghamshire in 1976.¹ He lived in 2003 at 45 Shepherds Hill, London, England^G.¹

     Isabel Body was born in 1921 at Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, North Riding, England.² She was the daughter of Thomas Munn Body.¹ She married Sir Thomas Erasmus Barlow, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Alan Noel Barlow, 2nd Bt. and Emma Nora Darwin, on 9 July 1955 at Ashford, Kent, England.¹ She died in 2005.³
     From 9 July 1955, her married name became Barlow.¹

     Philip Thomas Barlow was born on 31 December 1960.¹ He is the son of Sir Thomas Erasmus Barlow, 3rd Bt. and Isabel Body.¹ He married Susan Jane Wilkins, daughter of James Wilkins, on 25 July 1992.¹
     He was educated at Highgate School, Highgate, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from University of Sheffield, Sheffield, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹

     Susan Jane Wilkins is the daughter of James Wilkins.¹ She married Philip Thomas Barlow, son of Sir Thomas Erasmus Barlow, 3rd Bt. and Isabel Body, on 25 July 1992.¹
     From 25 July 1992, her married name became Barlow.¹
