     Christian Lumsden is the daughter of General Sir James Lumsden.¹ She married Sir Philip Anstruther, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Anstruther and Mary Swift.²
     Her married name became Anstruther.²

     General Sir James Lumsden lived at Innergelly, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of General in the Swedish Army.¹

     Sir William Anstruther, Lord Anstruther was the son of Sir Philip Anstruther and Christian Lumsden.¹ A contract for the marriage of Sir William Anstruther, Lord Anstruther and Lady Helen Hamilton was signed on 5 July 1677.³ He died on 24 January 1711.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1681 and 1707.⁴ He was styled as Lord Anstruther [Scottish Law Lord] in 1699.⁴ He held the office of Lord of the Justiciary in 1707.⁵ He lived at Anstruther, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁶
     

     Sir John Anstruther of Anstruther, 1st Bt. was born in 1678.³ He was also reported to have been born in 1673.⁴ He was the son of Sir William Anstruther, Lord Anstruther and Lady Helen Hamilton.^1,3 He married Lady Margaret Carmichael, daughter of Brig.-Gen. James Carmichael, 2nd Earl of Hyndford and Lady Elizabeth Maitland, on 24 January 1716/17 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.³ He died on 21 September 1753 at Elie House, Elie, Fife, Scotland^G.³ He was buried at Elie Church, Elie, Fife, Scotland^G.³ His will was proven (by probate) on 28 August 1754.³
     He was created 1st Baronet Anstruther, of Anstruther and of Elie House, co. Fife [Nova Scotia] on 6 January 1700.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs [Scotland] between 1702 and 1707.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs between 1708 and 1711.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Anstruther-Easter Burghs between 1713 and 1715.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Fifeshire between 1715 and 1741.³ He held the office of Master of the Works [Scotland] on 16 July 1717.³ His last will was dated 18 August 1746.

     Sir James Anstruther of Airdrie was born before 1702. He was the son of Sir Philip Anstruther and Christian Lumsden.¹ He married Katherine Skene, daughter of James Skene of Grange and Anna Drummond.²
     He lived at Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Philip Anstruther was the son of Sir James Anstruther of Airdrie and Katherine Skene.^1,2 He died on 11 November 1760, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)² He held the office of Governor of Minorca.¹

     Lt.-Col. Robert Anstruther was born on 18 May 1805.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Anstruther and Sarah Prendergast.¹ He married Louisa Elphinstone, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Howard Elphinstone, 1st Bt. and Frances Warburton, on 1 October 1832.¹ He died on 26 February 1856 at age 50, without issue.¹
     He lived at Thirdpart, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     George Buchan Anstruther was born in 1811.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Anstruther and Sarah Prendergast.¹ He died in January 1836, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹

     David Kinnear was born before 1656.
     He lived at Kinnear, Kilmany, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ He was also known as James Kinnear.²

     Sophia Kinnear was born before 1672. She was the daughter of David Kinnear.¹ She married Sir Robert Anstruther of Balcaskie, 1st Bt., son of Sir Philip Anstruther and Christian Lumsden, before 1687.¹ She died, without issue.¹
     From before 1687, her married name became Anstruther.¹
