Major Sir John Stanley Vincent Marling, 4th Bt.1 
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Marling, of Stanley Park and Sedbury Park, co. Gloucester [U.K., 1882] on 29 May 1936.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 17th/21st Lancers.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.2
