Vice-Admiral Sir George Richard Brooke-Pechell, 4th Bt.1 
He was commissioned in 1803 with the rank of offier, in the service of the Royal Navy.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Pechell, of Paglesham, co. Essex [G.B., 1797] on 3 November 1849.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Brighton.1 He was Gentleman-Usher of the Privy Chamber.2 He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1858.2
