     Augusta Caroline Octavia Douglas-Hamilton was born on 12 October 1856.¹ She was the daughter of Frederic Douglas-Hamilton and Marina Norton.¹ She died on 24 March 1929 at age 72, unmarried.¹

     Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton was born on 5 July 1816.¹ He was the son of Augustus Barrington Price Anne Powell Hamilton and Maria Catherine Hyde.¹ He married Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew, daughter of Admiral Sir Benjamin Hallowell-Carew and Anne Inglefield, on 22 May 1847.¹ He died on 12 September 1893 at age 77.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew was born in 1823 at Rochester, Kent, England.² She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Benjamin Hallowell-Carew and Anne Inglefield.^1,3 She married Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton, son of Augustus Barrington Price Anne Powell Hamilton and Maria Catherine Hyde, on 22 May 1847.¹ She died on 6 January 1901.¹
     From 22 May 1847, her married name became Douglas-Hamilton.

     Admiral Sir Benjamin Hallowell-Carew was born on 1 September 1761 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.² He was the son of Captain Benjamin Hallowell and Mary Roylston.² He married Anne Inglefield, daughter of Captain John Nicholson Inglefield and Ann Smith, in April 1800 at Gibraltar.⁴ He died on 2 September 1834 at age 73 at Beddington Park, Surrey, England.⁴
     He was given the name of Benjamin Hallowell at birth.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ In 1828 his name was legally changed to Benjamin Hallowell-Carew by deed.² He lived at Beddington Park, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Florence Ann Hallowell Douglas-Hamilton was born on 26 November 1852 at Farnham, Surrey, England^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton and Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew.¹ She married Edmund Arundel Laurence Gerald Peel, son of Major Robert Peel and Alexandrina Idonia Charlotte Susan Douglas-Hamilton, on 13 February 1890.¹ She died on 11 March 1937 at age 84 at Woolston, Southampton, Hampshire, England^G.^1,2
     From 13 February 1890, her married name became Peel.

     Edmund Arundel Laurence Gerald Peel was the son of Major Robert Peel and Alexandrina Idonia Charlotte Susan Douglas-Hamilton.¹ He married Florence Ann Hallowell Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton and Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew, on 13 February 1890.¹ He died in December 1918.¹

     Hon. Mopsa Mary Young was born on 9 May 1953.¹ She is the daughter of Wayland Hilton Young, 2nd Baron Kennet and Elizabeth Ann Adams.¹ She married Richard Douglas English, son of Major Douglas English, in February 1982.¹
     She was educated at Holland Park School, London, England^G.¹ From February 1982, her married name became English.¹ She was with Oxordshire County Council.²

     Mary Geraldine Douglas-Hamilton was born on 30 May 1856 at Melcombe Regis, Dorset, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton and Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew.¹ She married Henry Steuart in 1896.¹ She died on 23 November 1923 at age 67.¹
     From 1896, her married name became Steuart.

     Henry Steuart married Mary Geraldine Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton and Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew, in 1896.¹ He died in September 1936.¹

     Eva Bertha Gwendoline Douglas-Hamilton was born on 26 July 1863 at Kingsland, Herefordshire, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Reverend Adolphus Douglas-Hamilton and Henrietta Charlotte Hallowell-Carew.¹ She married George Wallace, son of Reverend Allan Wallace and Mary Frances Charlotte Hewett, on 14 September 1884.¹ She died on 2 October 1954 at age 91 at Hove, Sussex, England^G.^1,2
     From 14 September 1884, her married name became Wallace.
