Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Fitzmaurice Inglefield was born on 10 April 1861 at Wavertree, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Edward Augustus Inglefield and Eliza Fanny Johnston.1 He married Julia Katherine Margaret Wilson, daughter of James Christopher Wilson, in 1887.1 He died on 19 July 1945 at age 84 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England.1
