     Sir Henry Darcy is the son of Sir Arthur Darcy and Mary Carew.^2,3 He married, secondly, Katherine Fermor, daughter of Sir John Fermor.² He married, firstly, Katherine Tyrwhitt, daughter of Sir Robert Tyrwhitt.²
     He lived at Bremham, Yorkshire, England^G.³ He lived at Leighton, Shropshire, England^G.¹

     Hon. Sir George Hamilton, 1st Bt. was born circa 1607.² He was the son of James Hamilton, 1st Earl of Abercorn and Marion Boyd.¹ A contract for the marriage of Hon. Sir George Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Lady Mary Butler was signed on 2 June 1629.³ He died in 1679.⁴
     He was commander of the company in the Army in 1627.² He gained the rank of Colonel in 1649 in the Foot.² He held the office of Governor of Nenagh Castle between 1649 and 1651.⁵ He lived at Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He lived at Donalong, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.⁶ He was created 1st Baronet Hamilton, of Donalong, co. Tyrone and of Nenagh, co. Tipperary [Ireland] circa 1660.²

     Colonel James Hamilton was born circa 1620. He was the son of Hon. Sir George Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Lady Mary Butler.^1,2 He married Elizabeth Colepeper, daughter of John Colepeper, 1st Lord Colepeper, Baron of Thoresway and Judith Colepeper, in 1661.³ He died on 6 June 1673 mortally wounded in a seafight with the Dutch, when his legs were blown off by a cannon-ball.² He was buried on 7 June 1673 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England^G.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) on 5 January 1680, his widow.⁵
     He held the office of Groom of the Bedchamber.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Strabane between 3 July 1666 and 7 August 1666.⁵ He held the office of Ranger of Hyde Park on 29 November 1671.⁵

     James Hamilton, Lord Paisley was born between 1633 and 1637.¹ He was the son of James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Abercorn and Katherine Clifton, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold).¹ He married Catherine Lenthall, daughter of Sir John Lenthall and Bridget Temple, on 28 April 1653 at St. Batholomew’s-the-Less Church, London, England^G.¹ He died before 1670.¹
     He was styled as Lord Paisley between 1634 and 1670.¹

     Catherine Lenthall was the daughter of Sir John Lenthall and Bridget Temple.¹ She married James Hamilton, Lord Paisley, son of James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Abercorn and Katherine Clifton, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold), on 28 April 1653 at St. Batholomew’s-the-Less Church, London, England^G.¹ She died before 20 July 1696.¹

     Sir John Lenthall was the son of William Lenthall and Frances Southwell.² He married Bridget Temple, daughter of Sir Thomas Temple, 1st Bt. and Hester Sandys.²
     He held the office of Marshall of the King’s Bench.¹

     Bridget Temple was the daughter of Sir Thomas Temple, 1st Bt. and Hester Sandys.^2,3 She married Sir John Lenthall, son of William Lenthall and Frances Southwell.¹
     Her married name became Lenthall.¹

     Major Douglas English lived at Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He lived at Bedford, England^G.¹

     Sir John Lenthall was the son of Rt. Hon. William Lenthall.¹ He died on 9 November 1681.¹

     William Lenthall was born circa 1659.³ He was the son of Sir John Lenthall.¹ He married Catharine Hamilton, daughter of James Hamilton, Lord Paisley and Catherine Lenthall, before 1686.¹ He died on 5 September 1686 at Burford, Oxfordshire, England^G.⁴ He was buried on 6 September 1686 at Burford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹
