Andrew Herries, 2nd Lord Herries of Terregles1

He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Herries of Terregles [S., 1490] circa 1505.1 In 1507 he was outlawed for homicide but pardoned in late 1508.2 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2

John Maxwell, 8th Lord Maxwell1 
He succeeded as the 8th Lord Maxwell [S., 1445] on 7 December 1593.2 In 1608 he killed Sir James Johnstone in revenge for his father’s murder, and was sentenced to death. He fled abroad until 1612.2 He murdered Sir James Johnstone of Johnstone on 6 April 1608.3,4

Lady Susannah Hamilton1,2

Lady Susannah Hamilton was born before 1638.1 She was the daughter of James Hamilton, 1st Duke of Hamilton and Lady Margaret Feilding.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Susannah Hamilton and John Kennedy, 7th Earl of Cassillis was signed on 26 December 1668.1,4 She died in 1694.
From 26 December 1668, her married name became Kennedy.

John Kennedy, 7th Earl of Cassillis1 
He succeeded as the 9th Lord Kennedy [S., 1458] on 22 September 1668.2 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Cassillis [S., 1509] on 22 September 1668.1,2 In 1670 he was the only person in Parliament who voted against the Act for punishing coventicles, and for his illegal rotection of them, was outlawed.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1689 to King William II.2 He held the office of Lord of the Treasury [Scotland] between 1689 and 1695.2

Lady Anne Hamilton1

Lady Anne Hamilton was born between 1639 and 1649.1 She was the daughter of William Hamilton, 2nd Duke of Hamilton and Lady Elizabeth Maxwell.1 She married Robert Carnegie, 3rd Earl of Southesk, son of James Carnegie, 2nd Earl of Southesk and Lady Mary Ker, circa 1660.3 She and Robert Carnegie, 3rd Earl of Southesk were separated before 1671.3 She died in October 1695.3
From 5 July 1664, her married name became Carnegie. After her marriage, Lady Anne Hamilton was styled as Countess of Southesk in January 1669.

He gained the rank of Colonel in the Forfarshire Militia.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1659 in the company of Scots Guards in France.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Forfarshire between 1660 and 1669, jointly.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Forfarshire between 1669 and 1682.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Southesk [S., 1633] in January 1669.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Carnegie of Kinnaird and Leuchars [S., 1633] in January 1669.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Carnegie of Kinnaird [S., 1616] in January 1669.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Forfarshire from 1682 to February 1687/88, jointly.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in January 1681/82.2
