     He lived at Ripon, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northumberland.1

     Cordelia Murray was born on 16 March 1781 at Mahon, Minorca, SpainG.2 She was the daughter of General Hon. James Murray and Anne Witham.3 She married Reverend Henry Hodges on 26 May 1803 at Ore, Sussex, EnglandG.1,2 She died on 1 May 1849 at age 68.2
     From 26 May 1803, her married name became Hodges.
