     Amy Mary Ricardo was born on 24 June 1847.³ She was the daughter of Percy Ricardo.¹ She was baptised on 2 September 1847 at St. James, Paddington, London, England^G.³ She married Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 7th Duke of Richmond, son of Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 6th Duke of Richnond and Frances Harriett Greville, on 10 November 1868 at London, England^G.⁴ She died on 23 August 1879 at age 32 at London, England^G.⁴
     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox.

     Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 8th Duke of Richmond was born on 30 December 1870.¹ He was the son of Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 7th Duke of Richmond and Amy Mary Ricardo.¹ He married Hilda Madeline Brassey, daughter of Henry Arthur Brassey and Anna Harriet Stevenson, on 8 June 1893.³ He died on 7 May 1935 at age 64.
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief of Ireland between 1895 and 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief of South Africa between 1899 and 1900.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Irish Guards.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1905.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Morayshire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Sussex Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Morayshire.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Duc d’Aubigny [France, 1684] on 18 January 1928.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Duke of Lennox [S., 1675] on 18 January 1928.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Darnley [S., 1675] on 18 January 1928.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Lord of Torboulton [S., 1675] on 18 January 1928.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron of Settrington, co.      Isabel Sophie Craven was born on 28 April 1863. She was the daughter of William George Craven and Lady Mary Catherine Yorke.¹ She married Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 7th Duke of Richmond, son of Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 6th Duke of Richnond and Frances Harriett Greville, on 3 July 1882.¹ She died on 20 November 1887 at age 24.¹
     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox.

     John Mason Stead married Emily Stead, daughter of William Stead, in 1882.¹

     William John Hope Johnstone was born in 1863.¹ He was the son of Captain William George Hope Johnstone and Emily Stead.¹ He died on 26 September 1921.¹

     Charles Henry Edmund Hope Johnstone was born in 1867.¹ He was the son of Captain William George Hope Johnstone and Emily Stead.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Wright, daughter of George Samuel Wright, on 30 April 1901.¹ He married, secondly, Helen Muriel Revell, daughter of Thomas Revell, in 1929.¹
     He lived at 77 Pah Road, Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹

     Elizabeth Wright was the daughter of George Samuel Wright.¹ She married Charles Henry Edmund Hope Johnstone, son of Captain William George Hope Johnstone and Emily Stead, on 30 April 1901.¹ She died in 1922.¹
     From 30 April 1901, her married name became Hope Johnstone.¹

     George Samuel Wright lived at Brunswick, New Zealand^G.¹

     George William Hope Johnstone was born on 5 February 1902.¹ He was the son of Charles Henry Edmund Hope Johnstone and Elizabeth Wright.¹ He married, firstly, Dorothy Charity Hartley, daughter of Frederick Beasley Hartley, on 8 January 1925.¹ He and Dorothy Charity Hartley were divorced in 1932.¹ He married, secondly, Amelia Daphne de Thierry, daughter of Thomas du Auverue de Thierry, in 1933.¹ He and Amelia Daphne de Thierry were divorced in 1946.¹ He married, thirdly, Helen Louisa Taylor, daughter of William Taylor, in 1946.¹ He died in 1985.¹

     Dorothy Charity Hartley is the daughter of Frederick Beasley Hartley.¹ She married George William Hope Johnstone, son of Charles Henry Edmund Hope Johnstone and Elizabeth Wright, on 8 January 1925.¹ She and George William Hope Johnstone were divorced in 1932.¹
     From 8 January 1925, her married name became Hope Johnstone.¹
