John Cobham, 3rd Lord Cobham (of Kent)1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Cobham, Kent [E., 1313] on 20 September 1355.1 Between 1359 and 1376 he served in various French expeditions.2 He was appointed Knight Banneret in 1370.2 He was one of the 14 Commissioners who formed the Council of Regency in 1386.2 He was one of the Lords Appellant who impeached the King’s favourites, de la Pole, de Veer and others in 1388.2 He was a Lord Appellant to impeach King Richard II’s favourites in 1388.1 He was a member of the Court of Chivalry in 1389.2 He was a member of the Court of Chivalry in 1392.2 In 1397/98 he was impeached and condemned to death for his part in the Commission of 1388, but was pardoned and banished to Jersey.1 Circa 1400 he returned to England.2

Joan de la Pole, Baroness Cobham (of Kent)1 
From before November 1380, her married name became Hemenhale. From before 1394, her married name became Braybroke. From circa 1406, her married name became Hawberk. She succeeded as the 4th Baroness Cobham, Kent [E., 1313] on 10 January 1407/8.1 From before 18 July 1408, her married name became Oldcastell. From after 1417, her married name became Harpeden.2
