     Florence Davis was the daughter of John H. Davis.¹ She married, firstly, Terence John Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 2nd Marquess of Dufferin and Ava, son of Frederick Temple Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, 1st Marquess of Dufferin and Ava and Hariot Georgina Rowan-Hamilton, on 16 October 1893.² She married, secondly, Richard George Penn Curzon, 4th Earl Howe, son of General Richard William Penn Curzon-Howe, 3rd Earl Howe and Isabella Maria Katherine Anson, on 11 December 1919.¹ She died on 14 April 1925.¹
     From 16 October 1893, her married name became Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood. After her marriage, Florence Davis was styled as Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava on 12 February 1902. From 11 December 1919, her married name became Curzon. After her marriage, Florence Davis was styled as Countess Howe on 11 December 1919.

     Lady Charlotte Finch was born in 1693. She was the daughter of Daniel Finch, 7th Earl of Winchilsea and Hon. Anne Hatton.^1,3 She married Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset, son of Charles Seymour, 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge and Hon. Elizabeth Alington, on 4 February 1725/26.⁴ She died on 21 January 1773.⁴
     From 4 February 1725/26, her married name became Seymour. After her marriage, Lady Charlotte Finch was styled as Duchess of Somerset on 4 February 1725/26.

     Sir John Lowther, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 20 November 1643.¹ He was the son of Sir Christopher Lowther, 1st Bt. and Frances Lancaster.¹ He married Jane Leigh, daughter of Woolley Leigh and Elizabeth Hare.¹ He died circa January 1706.¹ He was buried on 17 January 1705/6.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lowther, of Whitehaven [E., 1642] in September 1644.¹ He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1665 and 1681.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1685 and 1687.¹ He was a Commissioner of the Admiralty between 1689 and 1696.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1689 and 1700.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Seymour was born in 1685.² She was the daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Elizabeth Percy.² She married Henry O’Brien, 7th Earl of Thomond, son of Henry Horatio O’Brien, Lord O’Brien and Lady Henrietta Somerset, on 4 June 1707.¹ She died on 2 April 1734 at London, England^G, without issue.¹
     After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Seymour was styled as Countess of Thomond on 4 June 1707. From 4 June 1707, her married name became O’Brien.

     Lady Catherine Seymour was the daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Elizabeth Percy.² She married Sir William Wyndham, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Wyndham, 2nd Bt. and Catharine Leveson-Gower, on 15 July 1708.¹ She died on 9 April 1731.¹
     Her married name became Wyndham.

     Lady Anne Seymour was the daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Elizabeth Percy.^1,2 She married Peregrine Hyde Osborne, 3rd Duke of Leeds, son of Peregrine Osborne, 2nd Duke of Leeds and Bridget Hyde, on 17 September 1719.¹ She died on 27 November 1722, without issue, in childbirth.²
     Her married name became Osborne.

     Christopher Lancaster lived at Stockbridge, Westmorland, England^G.¹

     Lady Charlotte Seymour was born on 21 September 1730.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Seymour, 6th Duke of Somerset and Lady Charlotte Finch.¹ She married Heneage Finch, 3rd Earl of Aylesford, son of Heneage Finch, 2nd Earl of Aylesford and Mary Fisher, on 6 October 1750 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G, with a fortune of £50,000.¹ She died on 15 February 1805 at age 74 at Aylesford, Kent, England^G.¹ She was buried at Packington, Warwickshire, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Finch. After her marriage, Lady Charlotte Seymour was styled as Countess of Aylesford on 29 June 1757.

     Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 6th Duke of Richnond was born on 27 February 1818 at Richmond House, Whitehall Gardens, London, England^G.³ He was the son of Charles Gordon-Lennox, 5th Duke of Richmond and Lady Caroline Paget.¹ He married Frances Harriett Greville, daughter of Algernon Frederick Greville and Charlotte Maria Cox, on 28 November 1843 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.³ He died on 27 September 1903 at age 85 at Gordon Castle, Fochabers, Morayshire, Scotland^G.³
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1839 in the Royal Horse Guards.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for West Sussex between 1841 and 1860.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Commander-in-Chief between 1842 and 1854.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1859.¹ He was President of the Poor Law Board between March 1859 and June 1859.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Duke of Richmond [E., 1675] on 21 October 1860.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron of Settrington, co. She was the daughter of Algernon Frederick Greville and Charlotte Maria Cox.^1,3 She married Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, 6th Duke of Richnond, son of Charles Gordon-Lennox, 5th Duke of Richmond and Lady Caroline Paget, on 28 November 1843 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.⁴ She died on 8 March 1887 at age 63 at Goodwood, Sussex, England^G.⁴
     Her married name became Gordon-Lennox. After her marriage, Frances Harriett Greville was styled as Duchess of Richmond on 21 October 1860.
