     William George Craven was born on 12 May 1835.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Augustus Craven and Georgina Smythe.¹ He married Lady Mary Catherine Yorke, daughter of Admiral Charles Philip Yorke, 4th Earl of Hardwicke and Hon. Susan Liddell, on 20 July 1857.¹ He died on 2 January 1906 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 1st Life Guards.¹

     Georgina Smythe was the daughter of Walter Smythe.¹ She married, firstly, Hon. George Augustus Craven, son of General William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven and Louisa Brunton, on 20 July 1833.¹ She married, secondly, Edmond de la Force, Duc de la Force on 19 October 1844.¹ She died on 11 December 1867.¹
     From 20 July 1833, her married name became Craven. From 19 October 1844, her married name became de la Force.

     Edmond de la Force, Duc de la Force married Georgina Smythe, daughter of Walter Smythe, on 19 October 1844.¹

     Hon. George Augustus Craven was born on 15 December 1810.¹ He was the son of General William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven and Louisa Brunton.¹ He married Georgina Smythe, daughter of Walter Smythe, on 20 July 1833.¹ He died on 26 July 1836 at age 25.¹

     Lady Mary Catherine Yorke was born on 19 May 1837.² She was the daughter of Admiral Charles Philip Yorke, 4th Earl of Hardwicke and Hon. Susan Liddell.² She married William George Craven, son of Hon. George Augustus Craven and Georgina Smythe, on 20 July 1857.¹ She died on 14 December 1890 at age 53.¹
     Her married name became Craven.

     General William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven was born on 1 September 1770 at Hill Street, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of William Craven, 6th Baron Craven of Hampsted Marshall and Lady Elizabeth Berkeley.¹ He married Louisa Brunton, daughter of John Brunton, on 12 December 1807 at Charles Street, Berkeley Square, London, England^G.¹ He died on 30 July 1825 at age 54 at West Parade, Cowes, Isle of Wight, England^G, from rheumatic gout.¹ He was buried at Binley, Coventry, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 29 August 1825, at under £70,000.¹

     She was an actress between October 1803 and December 1807 at Covent Garden, London, England^G.¹ From 12 December 1807, her married name became Craven. After her marriage, Louisa Brunton was styled as Countess of Craven on 12 December 1807.

     William Craven, 2nd Earl of Craven was born on 18 July 1809 at Charles Street, Berkeley Square, London, England^G.² He was the son of General William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven and Louisa Brunton.² He married Lady Emily Mary Grimston, daughter of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, on 5 September 1835 at Gorhambury, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He died on 25 August 1866 at age 57 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, England^G, from paralysis.² His will was proven (by probate) on 4 January 1867, at under £180,000.²
     He was educated between 1822 and 1827 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Craven of Hampsted Marshall, Berkshire [E., 1627] on 30 July 1825.² He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Craven [U.K., 1801] on 30 July 1825.² He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Uffington, co.      Lady Emily Mary Grimston was born on 4 February 1815.¹ She was the daughter of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson.¹ She married William Craven, 2nd Earl of Craven, son of General William Craven, 1st Earl of Craven and Louisa Brunton, on 5 September 1835 at Gorhambury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ She died on 21 May 1901 at age 86 at 1 Great Cumberland Place, London, England^G.¹ She was buried at Binley, Coventry, Warwickshire, England^G.¹
     From 5 September 1835, her married name became Craven. After her marriage, Lady Emily Mary Grimston was styled as Countess of Craven on 5 September 1835.
