Wilhelm Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg1 
Wilhelm Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg was born on 4 July 1535. He was the son of Ernst I Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and Sophie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.1 He married Dorothea Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Christian III Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Dorothea von Sachsen-Lauenburg, on 12 October 1561. He died on 20 August 1592 at age 57.
Wilhelm Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg also went by the nick-name of Wilhelm ‘the Younger’.3 He was a member of the House of Guelph.3 He succeeded as the Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1559.3

He was the son of Heinrich Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Dannenberg and Ursula von Sachsen-Lauenburg.1 He married, firstly, Clara Marie von Pommern-Barth, daughter of Bogislaw XIII Herzog von Pommern-Barth and Clara Herzogin von Braunschweig-Lüneburg, on 13 December 1607. He married, secondly, Sophie Dorothea Prinzessin von Anhalt-Zerbst, daughter of Rudolf Prinz von Anhalt-Zerbst and Dorothea Hedwig Herzogin von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, on 26 October 1623 at ZerbstG. He married, thirdly, Sophie Elisabeth von Mecklenburg-Güstrow, daughter of Johann Albrecht II Herzog von Mecklenburg-Güstrow and Elisabeth von Hessen-Kassel, on 13 July 1635. He died on 17 September 1666 at age 87 at Wolfenbüttel, Niedersachsen, Germany.

Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel was born on 9 October 1735 at Wolfenbüttel, Niedersachsen, Germany.3 He was the son of Karl I Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel and Philippine Charlotte Prinzessin von Preußen.1 He married Augusta Hanover, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland, daughter of Frederick Louis Hanover, Prince of Wales and Auguste Prinzessin von Sachsen-Gotha-Altenburg, on 16 January 1764 at St. James’s Palace, Chapel Royal, St. James’s, London, EnglandG.4 He died on 10 November 1806 at age 71 at Auerstadt, GermanyG, killed in action.1
He was a member of the House of Guelph.5 He succeeded as the Herzog von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel in 1780.1 He fought in the Battle of Auerstadt on 10 November 1806.
