     Sir John Oldcastell, 1st and last Lord Oldcastell married, thirdly, Joan de la Pole, Baroness Cobham (of Kent), daughter of Sir John de la Pole and Joan Cobham, before 18 July 1408.2 He died on 14 December 1417 at St. Giles Fields, London, EnglandG, hung over a slow fire, executed for treason.3,1
     He was created 1st Lord Oldcastell [England by writ] on 26 October 1409.1 In 1413 he was excommunicated for heresy.3 He had three other children by his previous wives.4

     John Brooke, 7th Lord Cobham (of Kent) was born after 1446.2 He was the son of Edward Brooke, 6th Lord Cobham (of Kent) and Elizabeth Tuchet.1 He married, firstly, Eleanor Austell.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Neville, daughter of Edward Neville, 1st Lord Abergavenny and Katherine Howard, before 1481.3 He died on 9 March 1511/12.
     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Cobham, Kent [E., 1313] on 19 August 1472.1 From 1491 to 1492 he was in an expedition to Flanders with King Henry VII.2 He fought in the Cornish insurrection at Blackheath on 24 June 1497, with Lord Abergavenny.2

     From before 1481, her married name became Brooke.1

     Thomas Brooke, 8th Lord Cobham (of Kent) was the son of John Brooke, 7th Lord Cobham (of Kent) and Margaret Neville.1,2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Heydon, daughter of Sir Henry Heydon and Anne Boleyn.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Southwell.1 He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Hart.1 He died on 19 July 1529.2 He was buried at Cobham, Kent, EnglandG.2
     He fought in the Siege of Tournay in 1513.1 He fought in the Battle of the Spurs on 18 August 1513.1 He was appointed Knight Banneret in 1514.1 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Cobham, Kent [E., 1313] on 23 November 1514.1 In 1520 he was at the Field of the Cloth of Gold.2 In 1521 he was one of the 12 Barons for the trial of the Duke of Buckingham.2 He had twelve other children by his first wife.2
