     Charles Atticus Monck was born on 17 July 1805.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Miles Lambert Monck, 6th Bt. and Louisa Lucia Cooke.3 He married Laura Ridley, daughter of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Bt. and Laura Hawkins, on 2 May 1835.2 He died on 12 December 1856 at age 51.2
     He gained the rank of Officer in the Coldstream Guards.2 He lived at Belsay, Northumberland, EnglandG.4
