     Selina Shirley was the daughter of Evelyn John Shirley and Eliza Stanhope.² She married Rt. Hon. Sir William Heathcote, 5th Bt., son of Reverend William Heathcote and Elizabeth Wither, on 18 May 1841.¹ She died on 17 July 1901.¹
     From 18 May 1841, her married name became Heathcote.

     Evelyn John Shirley was born on 26 April 1788.¹ He was the son of Evelyn Shirley and Phillis Byam Wollaston.² He married Eliza Stanhope, daughter of Arthur Stanhope, on 16 August 1810.¹ He died on 31 December 1856 at age 68.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Warwickshire.¹ He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Monaghan.¹ He lived at Lough Fea, County Monaghan, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Ettington Park, Warwickshire, England^G.¹

     Eliza Stanhope was the daughter of Arthur Stanhope.² She married Evelyn John Shirley, son of Evelyn Shirley and Phillis Byam Wollaston, on 16 August 1810.¹ She died on 30 April 1859.¹
     From 16 August 1810, her married name became Shirley.

     Augustus Arthur Perceval, 8th Earl of Egmont was born on 4 June 1856.¹ He was the son of Charles John Perceval and Eleanor Matthews.¹ He married Kate Howell, daughter of Warwick Howell, in 1881.¹ He died on 11 August 1910 at age 54, without issue.¹
     He was a merchant seaman.¹ He was a fireman.¹ He was a town hall janitor at Chelsea, London, England^G.¹ He was a cement manufacturer.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Arden, of Arden, co. Warwick [U.K., 1802] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baron Perceval of Burton, co. Cork [I., 1715] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Perceval of Kanturk, co. Cork [I., 1723] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Egmont, co. Cork [I., 1733] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Perceval [I., 1661] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Arden, of Lohort Castle, co. Cork [I., 1770] on 5 September 1897.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Lord Lovel and Holland, Baron Lovel and Holland of Enmore, co. Somerset [G.B., 1762] on 5 September 1897.¹

     Kate Howell was the daughter of Warwick Howell.¹ She married Augustus Arthur Perceval, 8th Earl of Egmont, son of Charles John Perceval and Eleanor Matthews, in 1881.¹ She died on 6 November 1926.¹
     From 1881, her married name became Perceval. After her marriage, Kate Howell was styled as Countess of Egmont on 5 September 1897.

     Warwick Howell lived at South Carolina, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Charles John Perceval, 9th Earl of Egmont was born on 29 June 1858.¹ He was the son of Charles John Perceval and Eleanor Matthews.¹ He married Florence Gibson, daughter of George Gibson, on 15 January 1890.¹ He died on 10 January 1929 at age 70, without issue.¹
     He was with the Natal Civil Service.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Arden, of Lohort Castle, co. Cork [I., 1770] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Arden, of Arden, co. Warwick [U.K., 1802] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Egmont, co. Cork [I., 1733] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Perceval of Kanturk, co. Cork [I., 1723] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Perceval of Burton, co. Cork [I., 1715] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Lord Lovel and Holland, Baron Lovel and Holland of Enmore, co. Somerset [G.B., 1762] on 11 August 1910.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Perceval [I., 1661] on 11 August 1910.¹
     On his death, his UK Barony of Arden became extinct. All of his other titles, including the Earldom of Egmont became dormant on his death, until 1939.¹

     Rt. Hon. Spencer Perceval was born on 1 November 1762 at North Audley Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Perceval, 2nd Earl of Egmont and Catherine Compton, Baroness Arden.¹ He married Jane Wilson, daughter of General Sir Thomas Spencer Wilson, 6th Bt. and Jane Badger-Weller, on 10 August 1790.⁴ He died on 11 May 1812 at age 49 at House of Commons, Westminster, London, England^G, assassinated by John Bellingham.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.⁴ He was a practising barrister and solicitor.⁴ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)⁴ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Attorney-General.⁴ He held the office of Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1807.⁴ He held the office of Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury from October 1809 to 11 May 1812.^1,2

     Jane Wilson was the daughter of General Sir Thomas Spencer Wilson, 6th Bt. and Jane Badger-Weller.^1,2 She married, firstly, Rt. Hon. Spencer Perceval, son of John Perceval, 2nd Earl of Egmont and Catherine Compton, Baroness Arden, on 10 August 1790.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Sir Henry Carr on 12 January 1815.¹ She died on 26 January 1844.¹
     From 10 August 1790, her married name became Perceval. From 12 January 1815, her married name became Carr.
