     Lionel Abel-Smith was born on 2 September 1924.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Lionel Abel Abel-Smith and Genevieve Lilac Walsh.¹ He died on 22 March 2011 at age 86.¹
     He lived at Peasmarsh, Rye, Sussex, England.¹

     Mary Murray Maxwell was born before 1813.² She is the daughter of Admiral Sir Murray Maxwell and Grace Callander Waugh.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Charles Hallowell-Carew, son of Admiral Sir Benjamin Hallowell-Carew and Anne Inglefield, on 12 June 1828.¹ She was also reported to have been married on 2 June 1850.³ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. William Petrie Waugh, son of Gilbert Waugh and Charlotte Wahab, on 2 July 1850 at Carleton Church, Carleton, Suffolk, England.² She died after 1880.²
     From 12 June 1828, her married name became Hallowell-Carew.¹ From 2 June 1850, her married name became Waugh.³ From 2 July 1850, her married name became Waugh.²

     Kathleen Meriel Taylor is the daughter of Edmund Coston Taylor.¹ She married Admiral Sir Richard George Onslow, son of Major George Arthur Onslow and Charlotte Riou Benson, on 30 April 1932.¹
     From 30 April 1932, her married name became Onslow.¹

     Edmund Coston Taylor lived at Church Stretton, Shropshire, England.¹
