     Commander Richard Edmund Onslow was born on 12 April 1933.¹ He was the son of Admiral Sir Richard George Onslow and Kathleen Meriel Taylor.¹ He married Mary-Jean Garner-Smith, daughter of Brigadier Kenneth James Garner Garner-Smith, on 12 April 1961.¹ He died on 13 March 2011 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived in 2003 at Preston Bagot House, Preston Bagot, Warwickshire, England.¹

     Admiral Sir Richard George Onslow was born on 15 April 1904.¹ He was the son of Major George Arthur Onslow and Charlotte Riou Benson.¹ He married Kathleen Meriel Taylor, daughter of Edmund Coston Taylor, on 30 April 1932.¹ He died on 16 December 1975 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and three bars.¹ He was Naval Secretary to the First Lord of the Admiralty between 1952 and 1954.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1954.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1958.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth between 1958 and 1960.¹ He gained the rank of Admiral in 1959.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shropshire in 1962.¹

     Major George Arthur Onslow was born on 29 March 1876.¹ He was the son of Andrew George Onslow and Mary Owen.¹ He married, firstly, Charlotte Riou Benson, daughter of Reverend Riou George Benson and Mary Brooke, on 10 June 1902.¹ He married, secondly, Maud Elliot Harris, daughter of George Steel Travers Harris and Caroline Elliot, on 15 November 1933.¹ He died on 12 April 1956 at age 80.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Shropshire Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Andrew George Onslow was born on 10 October 1830.¹ He was the son of Richard Foley Onslow and Catherine Blacker.¹ He married Mary Owen, daughter of Sir John Owen, 1st Bt. and Mary Frances Stephenson, on 13 June 1861.² He died on 26 August 1894 at age 63.¹
