     Hon. Edward Mainwaring Mainwaring-Ellerker-Onslow was born on 2 October 1779 at London, England.² He was the son of Thomas Onslow, 2nd Earl of Onslow and Arabella Mainwaring Ellerker.² He died on 30 July 1861 at age 81, unmarried.^2,1
     He was given the name of Edward Mainwaring Onslow at birth.¹ His name was legally changed to Edward Mainwaring Mainwaring-Ellerker-Onslow on inheriting the family estates.¹ He fought in the Peninsular Wars.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Fusilier Guards.¹

     Lady Harriet Elizabeth Onslow was the daughter of Thomas Onslow, 2nd Earl of Onslow and Arabella Mainwaring Ellerker.¹ She died in 1824.¹ She died, unmarried.²

     William Atkinson was born on 13 June 1809 at Newcastle, Northumberland, England.¹ He married Jane Margaret Clark, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Clark and Mary Brown, on 2 July 1833 at Northumberland, England.¹ He died on 30 December 1880 at age 71.¹
