     General James Maurice Primrose was baptised on 4 August 1819 at Colchester, Essex, England.2 He was the son of James Primrose.2 He married Elizabeth Beresford, daughter of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet, on 12 October 1857 at Bangalore, Madras, India.1,2 He died on 25 November 1892 at age 73 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1,2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 43rd Foot (Monmouthshire Light Infantry.)2 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He fought in the Afghan War between 1879 and 1880.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1880.2 He retired from the military in 1882, with the rank of General.2

     Hester Beatrice Bury was the daughter of Reverend Robert Bury and Letitia Barry.1,2 She married, firstly, Captain Francis Fox, son of Reverend John James Fox and Harriet Louisa Beresford, in 1861.2 She married, secondly, Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford, son of Reverend George Hamilton de la Poer Beresford and Elizabeth Nisbet, on 16 February 1865 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.1,3 She died on 9 May 1913.1
     From 1861, her married name became Fox.1 Her married name became Beresford.

     Sir Joseph Henry Greer was born, on 9 February 1855.2 He was the son of General Henry Harpur Greer and Agnes Isabella Knox.3 He married Olivia Mary Beresford, daughter of Maj.-Gen. George de la Poer Beresford and Hester Beatrice Bury, on 9 December 1886.1 He died on 24 August 1934 at age 79.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the Highland Light Infantry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kildare in 1910.2 He was Manager of the National Stud between 1915 and 1934.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1925.2 He lived at The Grange, Moy, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1 He lived at Curragh Grange, The Curragh, County Kildare, Ireland.2
