     Nina Julia Harriet Layton was born on 4 September 1838.¹ She was the daughter of Temple Hillyard Layton and Sarah Rea.¹ She was baptised on 1 October 1838 at British Chapel, Macao.¹ She married Reginald Robinson Sharpe, son of Reverend Lancelot Arthur Sharpe and Ellen Elizabeth Robinson, in 1878 at Kensington, London, England.¹ She died in 1892 at Paddington, London, England.¹
     From 1878, her married name became Sharpe.¹

     Temple Hillyard Layton was born on 26 May 1803.¹ He was the son of James Layton.¹ He was baptised on 29 May 1803 at St. Stephen Walbrook, London, England.¹ He married Sarah Rea on 23 December 1837 at British Chapel, Macao.¹ He died on 20 June 1850 at age 47.¹
