     Christopher William Bethell-Codrington was born on 12 March 1805.1 He was the son of Christopher Bethell-Codrington and Hon. Caroline Georgina Harriet Foley. He married Lady Georgiana Charlotte Anne Somerset, daughter of Henry Somerset, 7th Duke of Beaufort and Georgiana Frederica Fitzroy, on 29 December 1836.1 He died on 24 June 1864 at age 59.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Gloucester.1 He lived at Dodington Park, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1
