     Sir Leonard Ropner, 1st Bt. was born on 26 February 1895.² He was the son of William Ropner and Sarah Woolacott Cory.² He married Esme Robertson, daughter of William Bruce Robertson, on 23 June 1932.² He died on 12 October 1977 at age 82.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Garrison Artillery.² He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1918.² He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)² He was commander of the Durham Heavy Brigade, Royal Artillery between 1919 and 1928.² He was member of the County Durham T&AFA between 1920 and 1961.² He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1922 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1923.² He was senior partner of Sir R Ropner & Company.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Sedgefield between 1923 and 1929.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Barkston Ash between 1931 and 1964.² He fought in the Second World War, in Belgium and Germany.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.² He was created 1st Baronet Ropner, of Thorp Perrow, co. York [U.K.] on 31 January 1952.¹ He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)²

     Esme Robertson is the daughter of William Bruce Robertson. She married Sir Leonard Ropner, 1st Bt., son of William Ropner and Sarah Woolacott Cory, on 23 June 1932.¹ She died on 11 December 1996.¹
     Her married name became Ropner.

     William Bruce Robertson lived at Kensington, London, England.¹ He was also known as William Bruce Robertson.¹

     Carolyn Esme Ropner was born in 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Bruce Woollacott Ropner, 2nd Bt. and Auriol Veronica Mackeson-Sandbach.¹ She married Christopher G. James, son of Captain Jeremy James, on 24 April 1999.¹
     From 24 April 1999, her married name became James.

     Annabel Mariella Ropner was born on 20 March 1974.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Bruce Woollacott Ropner, 2nd Bt. and Auriol Veronica Mackeson-Sandbach.¹ She married Simon Dugdale, son of John Dugdale, on 16 April 2005.²
     From 16 April 2005, her married name became Dugdale.²

     Cecil Thomas Molyneux-Montgomerie was born in 1846. He was the son of Thomas Molyneux-Montgomerie and Hon. Georgina Louisa Foley. He married Eleanor Frances Lascelles, daughter of Hon. Arthur Lascelles and Caroline Frances Brooke, on 29 September 1868.¹ He died on 17 April 1901.
     He lived at Garboldisham Hall, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Sir Henry Peyton, 3rd Bt. was born in 1804. He was the son of Sir Henry Peyton, 2nd Bt. He married Georgina Elizabeth Bethell-Codrington, daughter of Christopher Bethell-Codrington and Hon. Caroline Georgina Harriet Foley, on 18 April 1828.¹ He died in 1866.
     He gained the title of 3rd Baronet Peyton.

     Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie was born on 18 September 1869.¹ He was the son of Cecil Thomas Molyneux-Montgomerie and Eleanor Frances Lascelles. He married Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset, daughter of Charles Bruce Henry Somerset and Victoria Alice Anne FitzGibbon, on 4 June 1901.² He died on 22 October 1915 at age 46, killed in action.
     He fought in the First World War. He lived at Garboldisham Hall, Norfolk, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.²

     Sybil Mary Blanche Somerset was the daughter of Charles Bruce Henry Somerset and Victoria Alice Anne FitzGibbon. She married Major George Frederick Crisp Molyneux-Montgomerie, son of Cecil Thomas Molyneux-Montgomerie and Eleanor Frances Lascelles, on 4 June 1901.¹ She died on 21 March 1932.¹
     From 4 June 1901, her married name became Molyneux-Montgomerie.
