He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Enniskillenn [Ireland] between 1783 and 1790.4 He held the office of Sheriff of County Donegal in 1799.4 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Stewart, of Ramelton, co. Donegal [I., 1623] in March 1801.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Donegal between 1802 and 1818.2 He lived at Fort Stewart, County Donegal, Ireland.2
