Sir Gerald William Henry Codrington, 1st Bt.1 
He was created 1st Baronet Codrington, of Dodington Park, co. Gloucester [U.K.] on 25 February 1876.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Major in the Gloucestershire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1880.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.1
