     Reverend Thomas Staples was born on 22 June 1702 at Derryloran, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Robert Staples, 4th Bt. and Mary Vesey.² He married Grace Houston, daughter of John Houston, on 15 May 1735.² He died in August 1762 at age 60.²

     Florence Mary Petre was born circa 1864. She was the daughter of Hon. Henry William Petre and Mary Ann Eleanor Walmesley.² She married Surgeon Lt.-Col. Charles Randolph Kilkelly, son of Surgeon-General Charles Edward Kilkelly, on 22 July 1893.¹ She died on 24 January 1956.¹
     Her married name became Kilkelly.

     Surgeon Lt.-Col. Charles Randolph Kilkelly was the son of Surgeon-General Charles Edward Kilkelly.¹ He married Florence Mary Petre, daughter of Hon. Henry William Petre and Mary Ann Eleanor Walmesley, on 22 July 1893.¹ He died in 1953.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹
