Samuel Masham, 1st Baron Masham of Otes1 
He held the office of Groom of the Bedchamber to Prince George of Denmark in 1706.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1710.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ilchester from 1710 to 1711.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for New Windsor from 1711 to 1712.2 He was created 1st Baron Masham of Otes [Great britain] on 1 January 1712. He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Masham [E., 1621] on 7 February 1723.

Anne Masham was the daughter of Samuel Masham, 1st Baron Masham of Otes and Abigail Hill.3,4 She married Henry Hoare, son of Henry Hoare and Jane Benson, on 11 April 1726.1 She died on 4 March 1727.1
From 11 April 1726, her married name became Hoare.

Devon [U.K., 1814] on 23 January 1833.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Pellew, of Exmouth, co. Devon [G.B., 1796] on 23 January 1833.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Exmouth, co. Devon [U.K., 1816] on 23 January 1833.1
