     Caroline Claire Barlow was born on 26 January 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Christopher Hilaro Barlow, 7th Bt. and Jacqueline Claire de Marigny Audley.¹ She married James Cass Jordan in 1986.¹
     From 1986, her married name became Jordan.¹ She lived in 2003 at 11813 Silent Valley Lane, Gaithersburg, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.¹

     James Cass Jordan married Caroline Claire Barlow, daughter of Sir Christopher Hilaro Barlow, 7th Bt. and Jacqueline Claire de Marigny Audley, in 1986.¹

     W/Cdr. Sir Richard Hugh Barlow, 6th Bt. was born on 30 June 1904.¹ He was the son of Sir Hilaro William Wellesley Barlow, 5th Bt. and Victoria Catherine Hibbert.¹ He married Rosamund Sylvia de la Fontaine Anderton, daughter of Francis Swithin Anderton, on 8 December 1928.¹ He died on 3 December 1946 at age 42 at near Quito, Ecuador^G, killed in a plane crash.¹
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K., 1803] on 16 October 1941.¹ He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)¹

     Sir Hilaro William Wellesley Barlow, 5th Bt. was born on 19 June 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Wellesley Barlow, 4th Bt. and Anne Catherine Whiteside.¹ He married Victoria Catherine Hibbert, daughter of Colonel Hugh Robert Hibbert, on 29 July 1891.¹ He died on 16 October 1941 at age 80.¹
     He was Superintendent between 1902 and 1916 at Royal Laboratory, Woolwich, Kent, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K., 1803] on 10 August 1904.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1913.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.¹

     Sir Richard Wellesley Barlow, 4th Bt. was born on 30 January 1836.¹ He was the son of Richard Wellesley Barlow and Maria Nott.¹ He married Anne Catherine Whiteside, daughter of Reverend John W. Whiteside, on 14 June 1860.¹ He died on 10 August 1904 at age 68.¹
     He was in the Madras Civil Service.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Madras]¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K., 1803] on 10 April 1889.¹

     Richard Wellesley Barlow was born on 10 September 1804.¹ He was the son of Sir George Hilaro Barlow, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Smith.^2,1 He married Maria Nott, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir William Nott, on 2 March 1835.¹ He died on 14 April 1839 at age 34.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹

     Sir George Hilaro Barlow, 1st Bt. was born on 20 January 1763.¹ He was the son of William Barlow and Hilare Butcher.¹ He married Elizabeth Smith, daughter of Burton Smith, on 16 April 1789.¹ He and Elizabeth Smith were divorced on 30 April 1816.¹ He died on 18 December 1846 at age 83.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service in 1778.¹ He was Sub-Secretary to the Supreme Government Revenue Department in 1788.¹ He was Secretary to the Supreme Government Revenue Department in 1796.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Bengal] in 1801.¹ He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.) [Bengal] in April 1802.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K.] on 29 June 1803.¹ He held the office of Provincial Governor-General of India between 1805 and 1807.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1806.¹ He held the office of Governor of Madras between 1807 and 1813.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹

     Sir Robert Barlow, 2nd Bt. was born on 24 September 1797.¹ He was the son of Sir George Hilaro Barlow, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Smith.¹ He married Augusta Louisa Seymour, daughter of Maj.-Gen. unknown Seymour, on 27 September 1832.¹ He died in January 1857 at age 59.¹
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service in 1817.¹ He held the office of Judge of the Native Supreme Court of Calcutta.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K., 1803] on 18 December 1846.¹

     Sir Morison Barlow, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 November 1835.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Barlow, 2nd Bt. and Augusta Louisa Seymour.¹ He died on 10 April 1889 at age 53, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹ He fought in the Siege of Lucknow.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Barlow, of Fort William, Bengal [U.K., 1803] in January 1857.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 7th Hussars.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Lancers.¹

     William Barlow was the son of William Barlow and Elizabeth Ford.¹ He married Hilare Butcher, daughter of Robert Butcher, on 17 February 1757.¹ He died on 29 May 1798.¹
     He lived at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹
