Francis Lennard, 14th Lord Dacre1 
Francis Lennard, 14th Lord Dacre was born on 11 May 1619.1 He was the son of Richard Lennard, 13th Lord Dacre and Elizabeth Throckmorton.1 He married Elizabeth Bayning, Countess of Shepey, daughter of Paul Bayning, 1st Viscount Bayning of Sudbury and Anne Glemham, in 1641.3 He died on 12 May 1662 at age 43.1
He succeeded as the 14th Lord Dacre [E., 1321] on 18 August 1630.1 In 1635 he claimed the estae of Gilsland on the death of Randolf Dacre, but the Howard family then in possession obliged him to accept the Manor of Dacre.1 He was educated at Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sussex in 1654.1

Elizabeth Bayning, Countess of Shepey1 
Elizabeth Bayning, Countess of Shepey was born in 1624.2 She was the daughter of Paul Bayning, 1st Viscount Bayning of Sudbury and Anne Glemham.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Gen. David Walter.3 She married, firstly, Francis Lennard, 14th Lord Dacre, son of Richard Lennard, 13th Lord Dacre and Elizabeth Throckmorton, in 1641.1 She died in 1686.2
Her married name became Walter.3 From 1641, her married name became Lennard.1 She was created Countess of Shepey [Engalnd] on 6 September 1680, for life.3

Anne Lennard, Baroness Dacre1 
She was Roman Catholic.2 From 15 July 1716, her married name became Barrett-Lennard. She sold the Chevening estate, Kent for £28,000 in 1717 to James Stanhope, 1st Earl Stanhope.2 From March 1717/18, her married name became Roper. After her marriage, Anne Lennard, Baroness Dacre was styled as Baroness Teynham in March 1717/18. From 16 October 1725, her married name became Moore. She succeeded as the 16th Baroness Dacre [E., 1321] in 1741, suo jure, when the abeyance was terminated in her favour.2

He lived at Belhus, Essex, England.3 He was given the name of Richard Lennard at birth.2 Richard Barrett title’s name changed to Richard Barrett under the terms of the will of his 2nd cousin, once removed, Sir Edward Barrett, 1st Lord Barret of Newburgh.2
