Charles Cavendish, Viscount Mansfield was born in 1627.2 He was the son of William Cavendish, 1st Duke of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Elizabeth Basset.1 He married Elizabeth Rogers, daughter of Richard Rogers and Anne Cheeke, before 1659.4 He died in 1659, without issue.1
