     Adam Ivo Stuart Bligh, 11th Earl of Darnley was born on 8 November 1941.¹ He was the son of Esme Ivo Bligh, 9th Earl of Darnley and Rosemary Potter.¹ He married Susan Elaine Anderson, daughter of Sir Donald Forsyth Anderson and Margaret Elaine Llewellyn, on 14 October 1965.¹ He died on 18 June 2017 at age 75.²

     Lady Marguerite Rose Bligh was born on 24 April 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Esme Ivo Bligh, 9th Earl of Darnley and Daphne Rachel Mulholland.¹ She married, firstly, F/O Claud Dobrée Strickland, son of Claud Hugh Strickland and Una Clara Margaret Bell, on 3 August 1934.¹ She and F/O Claud Dobrée Strickland were divorced in February 1941.¹ She married, secondly, W/Cdr. Gordon Stanley Keith Haywood, son of Charles Henry Percy Haywood, on 30 April 1942.¹ She and W/Cdr. Gordon Stanley Keith Haywood were divorced in 1951.¹ She married, thirdly, Nigel Trevithick Tangye, son of Lt.-Col. Richard Trevithick Gilbertstone Tangye and Sophie Elizabeth Frieda Kidman, on 3 May 1951.¹ She and Nigel Trevithick Tangye were divorced in 1964.¹ She died on 10 October 2002 at age 89.¹
     She was a mannequin in Fortnum & Mason’s, and a model in ads for Horlicks, Pond’s Cold Cream and Will’s Gold Flake.¹ From 3 August 1934, her married name became Strickland. From 30 April 1942, her married name became Haywood. From 3 May 1951, her married name became Tangye.

     F/O Claud Dobrée Strickland was born on 29 March 1909.² He was the son of Claud Hugh Strickland and Una Clara Margaret Bell.^1,2 He married Lady Marguerite Rose Bligh, daughter of Esme Ivo Bligh, 9th Earl of Darnley and Daphne Rachel Mulholland, on 3 August 1934.¹ He and Lady Marguerite Rose Bligh were divorced in February 1941.¹ He died on 27 October 1941 at age 32, killed in action.^1,3
     He was a stockbroker.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Auxiliary Air Force.¹
