Lt.-Cdr. George Pearson Glen Kidston was born on 23 January 1899 at London, England.3 He was the son of Captain Archibald Glen Kidston and Hélène Adeline Blanche Chapman.1 He married Nancy Muriel Denise Soames, daughter of Edward Roland Soames and Eleanor Corisande Astley, in 1925 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.3 He died on 5 May 1931 at age 32 at Natal, South Africa.3
Lt.-Cdr. George Pearson Glen Kidston usually went by his middle name of Glen.2 In November 1929 at Croydon, London, England, he was the sole surviror of an airliner crash.3 In 1931 he made a record England-Cape of Good Hope flight.1
