     John Darcy, 2nd Baron Darcy of Chiche was born circa 1532.1 He was the son of Thomas Darcy, 1st Baron Darcy of Chiche and Lady Elizabeth de Vere.2 He married Frances Rich, daughter of Richard Rich, 1st Baron Rich and Elizabeth Jenks. He died on 3 March 1580/81.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Baron Darcy of Chiche.
