     Captain John Neilson Gladstone was born on 18 January 1807.² He was the son of Sir John Gladstone, 1st Bt. and Anne MacKenzie Robertson.² He married Elizabeth Honoria Bateson, daughter of Sir Robert Bateson, 1st Bt. and Catherine Dickson, on 7 February 1839.² He died on 7 February 1863 at age 56.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ipswich and Devizes.² He lived at Bowden Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.³

     Elizabeth Honoria Bateson was the daughter of Sir Robert Bateson, 1st Bt. and Catherine Dickson.² She married Captain John Neilson Gladstone, son of Sir John Gladstone, 1st Bt. and Anne MacKenzie Robertson, on 7 February 1839.¹ She died on 11 February 1862.¹
     From 7 February 1839, her married name became Gladstone.

     Sir Robert Bateson, 1st Bt. was born on 13 March 1782.² He was the son of Thomas Bateson and Elizabeth Lloyd.³ He married Catherine Dickson, daughter of Samuel Dickson, on 27 April 1811.² He died on 21 April 1863 at age 81.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Bateson, of Belvior Park, co. Down [U.K.] on 18 December 1818.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Londonderry between 1830 and 1832.²

     Armar Lowry-Corry, 5th Earl of Belmore was born on 5 May 1870 at Government House, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ He was the son of Somerset Richard Lowry-Corry, 4th Earl of Belmore and Anne Elizabeth Honoria Gladstone.¹ He was baptised at Sydney Cathedral, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹ He died on 12 February 1948 at age 77, unmarried.²
     He was styled as Viscount Corry between 1870 and 1913.¹ He was educated in 1883 at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1895.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Fermanagh.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Tyrone.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermanagh.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Tyrone in 1901.³ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Belmore [I., 1797] on 6 April 1913.² He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Belmore [I., 1789] on 6 April 1913.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Belmore of Castle Coole, co. Fermanagh [I., 1781] on 6 April 1913.²

     William Strutt was born on 20 July 1756.³ He was the son of Jedediah Strutt and Elizabeth Woollat.^1,3 He married Barbara Evans, daughter of Thomas Evans, on 12 January 1793.³ He died on 30 December 1830 at age 74.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.³ He lived at St. Helen’s House, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Jedediah Strutt was born in 1726.³ He was the son of William Strutt.³ He married Elizabeth Woollat, daughter of William Woollat, on 24 September 1755. He died on 7 May 1797.³
     He was a partner of Sir Richard Arkwright.³ He lived at Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.³ He invented various improvements in machinery.¹

     Barbara Evans was the daughter of Thomas Evans.¹ She married William Strutt, son of Jedediah Strutt and Elizabeth Woollat, on 12 January 1793.² She died on 18 May 1808.²
     From 12 January 1793, her married name became Strutt.²

     Thomas Evans lived at Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.¹

     Nancy Sadleir Bruère was born on 8 June 1784 at Kolkata, Bengal, India.² She was the daughter of William Bruère.¹ She married Rt. Rev. William Otter, son of Edward Otter, on 8 July 1804 at Leatherhead, Surrey, England.² She died on 12 March 1860 at age 75 at Effingham, Surrey, England.²
     From 8 July 1804, her married name became Otter.²

     William Bruère held the office of Secretary of the Government of Calcutta.¹
