     Beresford Burston was admitted to Irish Bar.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.)¹

     Frances Burston was the daughter of Beresford Burston.² She married Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt., son of John McMahon and Mary Stacpoole, on 16 May 1807.¹ She died on 9 February 1813.¹
     From 16 May 1807, her married name became McMahon.¹

     Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 February 1808.¹ He was the son of Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt. and Frances Burston.² He married Maria Catherine Bateson, daughter of Sir Robert Bateson, 1st Bt. and Catherine Dickson, on 4 January 1838.¹ He died on 11 January 1873 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet McMahon, of Dublin [U.K., 1815] in 1837.¹

     Maria Catherine Bateson was the daughter of Sir Robert Bateson, 1st Bt. and Catherine Dickson.² She married Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt. and Frances Burston, on 4 January 1838.¹ She died on 6 August 1876.¹
     From 4 January 1838, her married name became McMahon.¹

     Sir William Samuel McMahon, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 November 1839.¹ He was the son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson.² He died on 3 June 1905 at age 65, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Life Guards.² He was Attaché to the British Legation at Munich, Bavaria, Germany^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Clare.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Tyrone.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet McMahon, of Dublin [U.K., 1815] on 11 January 1873.¹

     Robert Bateson McMahon was born on 5 November 1840.¹ He was the son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson.² He died on 9 July 1894 at age 53, unmarried.¹

     Beresford Burston McMahon was born on 26 July 1849.¹ He was the son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson.² He died on 27 November 1890 at age 41, unmarried.¹

     Gerald Charles McMahon was born on 3 September 1851.¹ He was the son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson.² He died on 23 April 1894 at age 42, unmarried.¹

     Sir Lionel McMahon, 4th Bt. was born on 30 June 1856.¹ He was the son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson.² He married Anne Cecilia Austin-Cooke on 29 August 1888.¹ He died on 20 February 1926 at age 69, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 58th Regiment.¹ He fought in the Zulu War in 1879.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Tyrone.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet McMahon, of Dublin [U.K., 1815] on 3 June 1905.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Couty Tyrone in 1914.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Anne Cecilia Austin-Cooke married Sir Lionel McMahon, 4th Bt., son of Sir Beresford Burston McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Maria Catherine Bateson, on 29 August 1888.¹ She died on 15 February 1923.¹
     From 29 August 1888, her married name became McMahon.¹
