     Edmund Langton was born in 1841 at Moor, Staffordshire, England.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Langton and Charlotte Wedgwood.1 He married Emily Caroline Langton Massingberd, daughter of Charles Langton Massingberd and Harriet Ann Langford, in 1867 at Staffordshire, England.1 He died in 1875.1

     Emily Caroline Langton Massingberd was born in 1848 at East Stonehouse, Devon, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Charles Langton Massingberd and Harriet Ann Langford.1 She married Edmund Langton, son of Reverend Charles Langton and Charlotte Wedgwood, in 1867 at Staffordshire, England.1 She died in 1897.1
     From 1867, her married name became Langton.1 In 1887 her name was legally changed to Massingberd by Royal Licence.1
