Londonderry [I., 1725] in December 1744.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Orford from 1746 to 1747.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Woodstock between 1747 and 1768.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire between 1747 and 1802.1 He held the office of Chief Steward of Leominster.1 He held the office of a Lord of the Admiralty from 1755 to 1756.1 He held the office of Treasurer of the Household from 1756 to 1757.2 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 19 November 1756.2 He held the office of Master of the Buckhounds between 1757 and 1782.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Leominster between 1768 and 1784.1
On his death, his titles became extinct.2
