Sir George Strickland, 5th Bt. was born in March 1729.1 He was the son of Sir William Strickland, 4th Bt. and Catherine Sambrooke.3 He married Elizabeth Letitia Winn, daughter of Sir Rowland Winn, 4th Bt. and Susanna Henshaw, on 25 November 1751.1 He died on 13 January 1808 at age 78.3
He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Strickland, of Boynton, co. York [E., 1641] on 1 September 1735.1
