     Robert Charles Graf Bentinck was born on 5 December 1875 at London, England^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Adolphus Frederick William Bentinck, 5th Graf Bentinck and Henrietta Eliza Cathcart McKerrell.² He married Lady Norah Ida Emily Noel, daughter of Charles William Francis Noel, 3rd Earl of Gainsborough and Mary Elizabeth Dease, on 8 September 1915.¹ He died on 12 March 1932 at age 56 at Ashwell, England^G.²
     He succeeded as the 6th Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire, 1732] on 18 June 1903. He gained the rank of Captain in the Remount Service, during the First World War.²

     Lady Norah Ida Emily Noel was born on 4 January 1881 at Campden, Gloucestershire, England^G. She was the daughter of Charles William Francis Noel, 3rd Earl of Gainsborough and Mary Elizabeth Dease.¹ She married Robert Charles Graf Bentinck, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Adolphus Frederick William Bentinck, 5th Graf Bentinck and Henrietta Eliza Cathcart McKerrell, on 8 September 1915.¹ She died on 23 May 1939 at age 58.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Henry Noel Bentinck, 11th Earl of Portland was born on 2 October 1919 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Robert Charles Graf Bentinck and Lady Norah Ida Emily Noel.¹ He married, firstly, Pauline Ursula Mellowes, daughter of Frederick William Mellowes, on 13 October 1940 at London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Jenifer Hopkins, daughter of Reginald Ernest Hopkins and Nancy Winifred Paige, on 23 February 1974.¹ He died on 30 January 1997 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire, 1732] on 12 March 1932. She was the daughter of Frederick William Mellowes.¹ She married Henry Noel Bentinck, 11th Earl of Portland, son of Robert Charles Graf Bentinck and Lady Norah Ida Emily Noel, on 13 October 1940 at London, England^G.¹ She died on 11 January 1967 at age 45.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Timothy Charles Robert Noel Bentinck, 12th Earl of Portland was born on 1 June 1953 at Tasmania, Australia^G.¹ He is the son of Henry Noel Bentinck, 11th Earl of Portland and Pauline Ursula Mellowes.¹ He married Judith Ann Emerson, daughter of John Robert Emerson, on 8 September 1979.¹
     He gained the title of Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire]. He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He is an actor, playing David Archer in The Archers and other roles. He succeeded as the 12th Earl of Portland, co. Dorset [E., 1689] on 30 January 1997.³ He succeeded as the 12th Viscount Woodstock, co. Oxford [E., 1689] on 30 January 1997.³ He succeeded as the 12th Baron of Cirencester, co. Gloucester [E., 1689] on 30 January 1997.³

     Ruth Mary St. Maur was born illegitimately on 27 October 1867.² She was the daughter of Edward Adolphus Ferdinand St. Maur, Earl St. Maur and Rosina Elizabeth Swan.^1,2 She married William George Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck, son of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Prudentia Penelope Leslie, on 8 August 1887.¹ She died on 28 January 1953 at age 85.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck.

     Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 9 July 1821.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Lady Mary Lowther.¹ He married Prudentia Penelope Leslie, daughter of Colonel Charles Powell Leslie and Christiana Fosbery, on 14 August 1850.² He died on 9 April 1891 at age 69.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Secretary, Board of Trade between 1874 and 1875.¹ He held the office of Judge-Advocate General between 1875 and 1880.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹

     Prudentia Penelope Leslie was the daughter of Colonel Charles Powell Leslie and Christiana Fosbery.^1,2 She married Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck, son of Maj.-Gen. Lord Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Lady Mary Lowther, on 14 August 1850.² She died on 22 June 1896.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck.

     William George Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 6 March 1854.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. George Augustus Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Prudentia Penelope Leslie.¹ He married Elizabeth Livingston, daughter of Maturin Livingston, on 12 August 1880.¹ He died on 22 August 1909 at age 55 at Forest Farm, Windsor, Berkshire, England.^1,2
