     From before 1950, her married name became Bowie.¹ From 21 September 1950, her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck. After her marriage, Gwyneth Ethel Edward was styled as Duchess of Portland on 21 March 1977.

     Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland was born on 18 June 1897.¹ He was the son of William George Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Ruth Mary St. Maur.¹ He married, firstly, Clothilde Bruce Quigley, daughter of James Bruce Quigley, on 16 February 1924.¹ He and Clothilde Bruce Quigley were divorced in 1948.¹ He married, secondly, Kathleen Elsie Barry, daughter of Arthur Barry, on 27 July 1948.¹ He died on 30 July 1990 at age 93.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Attaché to the Legation at Oslo in 1915.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1918 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was 3rd Secretary to Warsaw in 1919.¹ He was 2nd Secretary to Paris in 1923.¹ He was 2nd Secretary to The Hague in 1924.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Caithness in 1927.¹ He was 1st Secretary to Paris in 1928.¹ He was 1st Secretary to Athens in 1932.¹ He was 1st Secretary to Santiago in 1934.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1942.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to Poland between 1945 and 1947.¹ He was chairman of Bayer UK between 1968 and 1986.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Earl of Portland, co. Dorset [E., 1689] on 13 December 1980.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Marquess of Titchfield, co. Southampton [G.B., 1716] on 13 December 1980.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Duke of Portland [G.B., 1716] on 13 December 1980.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Bolsover, of Bolsover Castle, co. Derby [U.K., 1880] on 13 December 1980.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baron of Cirencester, co. Gloucester [E., 1689] on 13 December 1980.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Viscount Woodstock, co. Oxford [E., 1689] on 13 December 1980.¹ On his death, his dukedom, marquessate and barony of Bolsover became extinct.¹

     Clothilde Bruce Quigley is the daughter of James Bruce Quigley.¹ She married Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland, son of William George Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Ruth Mary St. Maur, on 16 February 1924.¹ She and Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland were divorced in 1948.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck.

     Kathleen Elsie Barry was the daughter of Arthur Barry.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur Ritchie Tillotson.¹ She married, secondly, Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland, son of William George Frederick Cavendish-Bentinck and Ruth Mary St. Maur, on 27 July 1948.¹ She died on 10 January 2004.²
     Her married name became Tillotson.¹ From 27 July 1948, her married name became Cavendish-Bentinck. After her marriage, Kathleen Elsie Barry was styled as Duchess of Portland on 13 December 1980. She lived in 2003 at 21 Carlyle Square, London, England^G.¹

     Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck was born on 16 December 1929.¹ She was the daughter of Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland and Clothilde Bruce Quigley.¹ She married, firstly, Alexander Constantine Georgiades, son of Constantine Georgiades, on 20 April 1963.¹ She and Alexander Constantine Georgiades were divorced in 1978.¹ She married, secondly, Stephen Richards Graubard, son of Harry Graubard, on 5 August 1978.¹ She died on 1 March 2010 at age 80.²
     From 20 April 1963, her married name became Graubard. From 5 August 1978, her married name became Georgiades.

     Alexander Constantine Georgiades is the son of Constantine Georgiades.¹ He married Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland and Clothilde Bruce Quigley, on 20 April 1963.¹ He and Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck were divorced in 1978.¹

     Stephen Richards Graubard is the son of Harry Graubard.¹ He married Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck, daughter of Victor Frederick William Cavendish-Bentinck, 9th Duke of Portland and Clothilde Bruce Quigley, on 5 August 1978.¹
     He was a professor.¹

     William James Georgiades was born on 18 March 1967.¹ He is the son of Alexander Constantine Georgiades and Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck.¹

     David Constantine Georgiades was born on 8 January 1969.¹ He is the son of Alexander Constantine Georgiades and Mary Jane Cavendish-Bentinck.¹ He married Ane Givskov on 12 June 2000.²

     Luke White was born before 1789.¹ He was the son of Luke White and Elizabeth de la Mazière.¹ He died in August 1854.¹
