     Christian Frederick Anthony Graf Bentinck was born on 15 August 1734.¹ He was the son of William Bentinck, 1st Graf Bentinck and Charlotte Sophie Gräfin von Aldenburg.¹ He married Maria Katherine van Tuyll van Serooskerken, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Jan Maximilian van Tuyll van Serooskerken, Heer van Vleuten en Westbroek and Lady Ursula Christine Reiniera van Reede, van Amerongen, on 5 October 1760.¹ He died on 1 April 1768 at age 33.¹
     He gained the title of Graf Bentinck de Varel.¹ He held the office of Sovereign Lord of Kniphausen and Varel in 1754.¹

     Maria Katherine van Tuyll van Serooskerken was born on 5 April 1743.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Jan Maximilian van Tuyll van Serooskerken, Heer van Vleuten en Westbroek and Lady Ursula Christine Reiniera van Reede, van Amerongen.¹ She married Christian Frederick Anthony Graf Bentinck, son of William Bentinck, 1st Graf Bentinck and Charlotte Sophie Gräfin von Aldenburg, on 5 October 1760.¹ She died on 23 October 1793 at age 50.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Jemima Helena de Reede-Ginkel, Countess de Reede-Ginkel was born on 21 December 1767.¹ She was the daughter of Frederik Christiaan Reinhart van Reede, 5th Earl of Athlone and Anna Elisabeth Christina van Tuyll van Serooskerken. She married Maj.-Gen. John Charles Bentinck, son of Christian Frederick Anthony Graf Bentinck and Maria Katherine van Tuyll van Serooskerken, on 20 March 1785.² She died on 6 September 1839 at age 71.²
     She gained the title of Countess de Reede-Ginkel. Her married name became Bentinck.

     Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck was born on 4 March 1792.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John Charles Bentinck and Jemima Helena de Reede-Ginkel, Countess de Reede-Ginkel.¹ He married Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, daughter of Karl Graf zu Waldeck und Pyrmont and Karoline Gräfin Schilling von Canstadt, on 30 January 1846.¹ He died on 28 October 1864 at age 72 at Bergheim, Waldeck, Germany^G.¹
     He fought in the Peninsular Wars, and was wounded at Barossa inn 1812.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo, on the Staff.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 12th Foot.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Teutonic Order.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire, 1732] on 8 June 1855.¹ He lived at Middachten Castle, The Netherlands.¹ In 1888 his descendants were all granted permission to use the Countly title.¹

     Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont was born on 23 June 1826.² She was the daughter of Karl Graf zu Waldeck und Pyrmont and Karoline Gräfin Schilling von Canstadt.^1,2 She married Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck, son of Maj.-Gen. John Charles Bentinck and Jemima Helena de Reede-Ginkel, Countess de Reede-Ginkel, on 30 January 1846.¹ She died on 28 February 1899 at age 72.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Adolphus Frederick William Bentinck, 5th Graf Bentinck was born on 30 October 1846.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.¹ He married Henrietta Eliza Cathcart McKerrell, daughter of Robert McKerrell and Emily Pauline Staveley, on 8 December 1874.¹ He died on 18 June 1903 at age 56.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Graf Bentinck [Holy Roman Empire, 1732] on 28 October 1864.¹ In 1874 he renounced his title.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Teutonic Order.¹

     Henrietta Eliza Cathcart McKerrell was born on 20 July 1848 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.² She was the daughter of Robert McKerrell and Emily Pauline Staveley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Charles Adolphus Frederick William Bentinck, 5th Graf Bentinck, son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 8 December 1874.¹ She died on 10 February 1934 at age 85.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck.

     Frederik Christiaan Reinhart van Reede, 5th Earl of Athlone was born on 31 January 1743 at The Hague, The Netherlands^G.¹ He was the son of Frederik Willem van Reede, 4th Earl of Athlone and Louisa Isabella Hermelina van Wassenaer.¹ He married Anna Elisabeth Christina van Tuyll van Serooskerken, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Jan Maximilian van Tuyll van Serooskerken, Heer van Vleuten en Westbroek and Lady Ursula Christine Reiniera van Reede, van Amerongen, on 29 December 1765.¹ He died on 13 December 1808 at age 65 at Teddington, London, England^G.¹ He was buried at Teddington, London, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) in January 1810.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron of Aghrim, co. Galway [I., 1692] on 1 December 1747.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Athlone, co. Roscommon [I., 1692] on 1 December 1747.¹ He held the office of Ranger of Utrecht.¹ He held the office of Chief Magistrate of Utrecht in 1790.¹ He was created Count van Reede [Holy Roman Empire] on 25 September 1790.¹ In 1795 he accompanied the Stadtholder to England, and took his seat in the House of Lords.¹ On 1 August 1800 he obtained an annuity from the House of Lords as a Poor Peer.¹

     Judith Ann Emerson was born on 10 October 1952. She is the daughter of John Robert Emerson.¹ She married Timothy Charles Robert Noel Bentinck, 12th Earl of Portland, son of Henry Noel Bentinck, 11th Earl of Portland and Pauline Ursula Mellowes, on 8 September 1979.¹
     Her married name became Bentinck. After her marriage, Judith Ann Emerson was styled as Countess of Portland on 30 January 1997.

     William Jack Henry Bentinck, Viscount Woodstock was born on 19 May 1984 at London, England^G.¹ He is the son of Timothy Charles Robert Noel Bentinck, 12th Earl of Portland and Judith Ann Emerson.¹ He married Rebecca Newton, daughter of Christopher Newton, on 1 July 2021 at Crear, Scotland.²
     He was styled as Lord Cirencester between 1990 and 1997. He was styled as Viscount Woodstock in 1997.¹
